Past Research Activities
Reza is a Ph.D. student of Transportation Engineering at the Univerisity of Waterloo, Canada, focusing on road safety and conflict analysis. Also, he majored in Industrial engineering (socio-economic system engineering) as an M.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology. He has also concluded his undergraduate studies in Railway Transportation engineering at the Iran University of Science and Technology. After graduation from university, he has closely remained in the transportation industry and gained first-hand experience in this industry. He has worked as a Strategy and Business Excellence professional in the mobility division of Siemens Company. He is currently working on various road safety and vision zero projects to identify and improve the safety level of the hotspot locations through big data analysis using AI techniques.
